Thought I blew a head gasket, turned out to be an intake gasket, heads are back on.
Finally starting fuel injection project!
Edelbrock 6037 heads, Crane 2031 cam, Cobra rockers, Edelbrock Performer EFI (#3821) intake.
Since it originally came with finned valve covers, it needed new ones for fuel injection!
Ceramic coated Motorsport Stainless Steel headers (M-9430-P51)
Magnalflow stainless 2.5" X-Pipe with cats (#93332)
Magnaflow 2.5" stainless cat-back (#15630)
Almost done, just need to swap out gas tank and run fuel lines.

Runs great, starts first time, everytime and stays running.
No more dancing on the gas pedal to keep it running like with the carburetor!
Passed Emissions here in Albuquerque too. No questions asked.
Every thing works just like the factory intended, cruise control, air conditioning included.
Throttle response and torque are much better than with the carb.
The exhaust is a little quieter than what I'm used to, but it isn't hurting performance either.
It sounds awsome at full throttle and at the upper end of the tach.
